Disclaimer and Your Use of Q82.uk

Q82.uk is a privately run website administered and funded by Steve G0UIH [Retired owner of Vortex Antenna Systems]. All information on the site is totally free and nowhere on the site is money asked for data, files or published information. We don’t ask for any voluntary contributions as that implies that users should contribute.

There is a small commercial area where a very limited selection of NOS [New Old Stock] items from Vortex Antenna Systems is [from time-to-time] available, plus a handful of G0UIH private antenna builds [mainly Delta Loops] but also includes the Q82MKII vertical.

The supplier information on this website [Q82.uk] is based purely on our own experiences and does not in anyway endorse any of the companies mentioned on the site, although we’ve had a good commercial relationship with all. Advice is based on our own commercial builds since 2008 and what we found ‘worked‘. However, we can’t be held responsible for any user project that doesn’t hit expectations [for whatever reason]. As we are UK based, company references will mainly reflect that the constructor is located in the United Kingdom.

This website Q82.uk and its content is copyright – ©. All rights reserved.

However, because the primary purpose of the site is to encourage the sharing of information and to promote the understanding of antenna theory, construction methods and antenna operation for the amateur radio enthusiast and hobbyist, users can freely download any of the site contents as they see fit as long as there is a reference back to Q82.uk as the source if used elsewhere. This includes PDF files, documents, images and hosted files such as .EZNEC files.

EZNEC files may be changed, amended and updated as the user so wishes in order to aid their own experimentation and further expand their knowledge of antenna design. However, a credit on their origination back to Q82.uk or G0UIH would be appreciated in any subsequent publishing.

Articles by LB Cebik – W4RNL [sk]
LB Cebik [W4RNL] encouraged radio amateurs to get involved in antenna design and his contribution to the hobbyist was immense during his lifetime. He actively encouraged even the most inexperienced person to understand the fundamentals of designs. We are therefore happy to include articles that Dr. Cebik has previously published and hope the amateur community can continue to spread the word on LB Cebik’s work. These articles are not the copyright of Q82.uk and are published merely as reference.

We trust that the content on Q82.uk is helpful for the home constructor and those wishing to advance their antenna related experimentation.

Good luck with your project!
