A 5 Element OWA Yagi for 10 and 11m

Here’s a nice project that gives the builder great performance on 2 bands. A 5 element OWA Yagi with over 9dbi on 11m and 9.82dbi on 10m giving great performance. Front to back is around 19.5db on 11m and over 26db on 10m. This antenna was used at G0UIH from 2007 until 2012.

The antenna is built using a 60mm x 60mm x 4mm wall centre boom section and 50mm x 50mm x 3mm box section for the outer boom sections which telescope into the centre section. 2 inch box section with a 10 gauge wall could be used as an alternative for the two outer sections [pertinent for UK builders].
